This research explores the potential connection between willingness to communicate (WTC) and academic performance in English among international students studying Australia. It is motivated by recognition that learners who actively seek opportunities for communication a second language often achieve improved learning outcomes. The study hypothesizes higher levels of individual WTC may be associated with enhanced proficiency. However, influence additional factors, including variations students’ home countries majors, necessitates comprehensive understanding this intricate relationship. employs quantitative design, utilizing data collected from sample Australian education institutions. Measures are obtained through self-report instruments. Statistical analyses, correlation regression employed examine link accomplishment. findings reveal significant positive English, indicating tend exhibit better Furthermore, found major predictor performance, suggesting its as valuable indicator also identifies scores different highlighting these factors on behavior.
